Our Story
How it Started
Seven chickens and a desire for fresher, healthier food. That is where the JRJ Farm story began about 4 years ago now. As time passed our flock has grown to over 20 birds, with new fluffy butts being added yearly.
What have we done?!
Starting in 2024, we purchased our first batch of Serama hatching eggs to introduce these adorable little birds to our farm and community.
The first year, we hatched two roosters then went on a mission to expand our gene pool with hens from other reputable breeders in North Carolina.
Our Serama flock is currently at four birds with another four coming to the farm soon.
